Businesses considering location or expansion in Yuba City now have a new information source: thinkyubacity.com.
The website was officially launched at the Yuba City City Council meeting, August 5. Key attractions of the site are a community profile, properties database, and news features. All content can be managed and updated easily by Yuba City staff with no web coding required.
Prior to the meeting, Yuba City Mayor Rory Ramirez said, “We are proud today to launch our new ThinkYubaCity website, designed specifically for businesses to find information about Yuba City, the Yuba-Sutter Enterprise Zone and other resources which will help existing and new business expand in Yuba City."
The site was developed by EDsuite, under the guidance of Chabin Concepts, who facilitated the City’s Economic Development Strategic Plan. The city wanted a site that told its economic development story in a clean, professional manner.
Ramirez explained, “Businesses do their due diligence before making an investment in a community. They want to know a lot about the area, such as labor force, real estate, transportation, demographics, housing costs, schools etc. They also want to find the information any time of the day or night. That is why it is so important for the City to have a data-rich economic development website.”
